The slow feeder insert is a stainless steel tray with several round indents.  This is designed to slow down feeding.  

The slow feeder tray is reversible with concave circles on one side and convex circles on the other. 

The slow feeder insert measures 23cm x 13cm. It is designed to slot into the regular feeder bowl but can also work in the open front water/deeper food bowl

The depth 1.6mm.
